I'm alone but heard from my girls. Mom always had our baskets (same ones every year) filled and eggs hidden in the house and in the yard.

I did the same with my girls using the same baskets every year. There was always a little gift too. Yes, I fixed one each year for hubby too.

Side note, Alicia always awoke early, checked out where the eggs were hidden in the house and went back to bed. When we gave the girls the okay to look for the eggs, she always knew where they were and ended up with her basket full. We figured it out after awhile.

I have a little basket of the last eggs my step granddaughter colored in my fridge. I didn't have the heart to get rid of them. I enjoy seeing them in the back of the shelf when I move things around.
