If people love children, and can afford to provide a loving home for them, I do admire them. If, on the other hand, they just shell out one after another knowing the welfare will pay for the births and the necessities, I really don't.

They really did need help in the old farming days. But these days, it takes two incomes to try to make ends meet; and creates the situation of the older children having to ride herd on the younger ones, it isn't sensible to keep on having kids.

As for choosing no offspring, it ought to be up to the individual, for sure!
