The first time I was scheduled with surgery, Rene took a week off from work to be take me then be with me. Since my surgery was rescheduled to the following week, she ended up going home early.

My brother took me that following Monday so I could have blood drawn and Amy's flight, renting a car and driving to the hospital, we literally met up as I was about to be taken to the lab, and she was walking in from the parking lot. She stayed with me for 9 days then Alicia came in to stay another week.

I'm sure she could leave now as I was told I could resume activities after a week. It's been that and she still wants to stay a bit longer. I don't mind at all. It's great having her here. I am blessed.
