Having lived most of my life in SoCal the Santa Ana winds are brutal sometimes. The horrific winds during that firestorm created a hurricane type condition that fueled the fires even more and carried embers far to ignite other areas and rooves.

We've heard a lot about the celebrities who have lost their homes because the areas are very elite, but there were not so wealthy folks who lost everything too. We haven't heard much about those poor souls.

A tragedy all the way around. And - the reservoir in Pacific Palisades was empty. Go figure. I think heads will roll.
