Ham for Christmas.If Mom wanted dumplings she would cook a chicken.I preferred a selection of different cheeses and sliced ham with rye,wheat,and white bread for sandwiches and a big relish tray for sandwiches because each family would come in to Mom's at different times so sandwich fixings was the way to go with six kids and the grandchildren and great grands.
