November is important for Veterans Day recognizing service and sacrifice of military Veterans.

It was originally commemorate as Armistice Day but was renamed Veterans Day in 1954 in the United States.It is a federal holiday throughout our country.

It is always observed on November 11 regardless of the day it happens to be.If it falls on the weekend it is a federal Day on Friday.
