Scraggly,untrimmed,dirty looking beards are not acceptable to me BUT clean,well shaped and trimmed beards regardless of color are to my liking.The great big IF is if the wearer has the type of facial construction that looks better clean shaven.My husband had such a "baby-face" look that it didn't match his physique so he looked better with a nice looking beard.A beard completely altered my vet friend's look for the "better".

All the boyfriends I had in the 60s were clean shaven.LOL also the ones in gradeschool
