My uncle Al was a Seabee. WWII and he was at Pearl Harbor when the first bomb was dropped there. He said they had mass graves for the parts of people and sent home what they could. More than once, he woke up in the closet. Once with his hands around his wife's throat. The other uncles didn't say anything other than, "I went. I did my Job."
