I'm not that crafty, ladies. Very clever name, Cow Patties. I love it.

I'm a knitter and I used to have needles and yarn working in my hands all the time. Now I still try to knit caps to give to places to hand out to homeless or others in need. I used to sew a lot for my girls.

Amy's husband is a school counselor for special needs, troubled and other types of kids. They live in Illinois, and he asked that I make some so he could keep them for kids who show up to school with nothing covering their heads in winter. I sent 12 and he's already handed out some last winter.

I wish I still knitted like I used to. I have tons of yarn in my stash.
