One of the girls, sadly I can't remember which one of the 3 older ones, stuck the scissors along the scalp and cut so it was a strange chunk of hair that was missing. I was floored.

I had little kid scissors for them, the kind that has the rounded tips. I was fixing Alicia's hair and noticed that her eyelashes were missing. She had long, double lashes that curled. They were beautiful and were all gone. Of course they grew back. I noticed later that she'd cut the cat's whiskers off too.
