The young people today don't know how to survive. They are used to fast foods, tattoos and high-priced cell phones.
We, as a family of 6, ate a lot of pinto beans. Mom always grew a vegetable garden. We weren't allowed to fill the bathtub full or waste anything.
One Christmas, for my little brother and I, our toys were bought from a Pawn Shop, I learned later. I don't remember about the two older boys, but I'm sure their things were bought there too.
