A meeting for lunch or early dinner is taking place Saturday.The ladies at church decided that there were so many September birthdays that they would meet at a local restaurant to celebrate.Then as an after thought an email was sent to every lady and said anyone could join them.I will pass.

I don't recall anyone here having a birthday this month or am I mistaken? My mother's birthday was in September.I would rather have lunch at the cemetery with the peace and quietness thinking of my mother.

I think I have a beef about this because it hasn't been done every month.PLUS the after thought mass email to me indicates others had the same thoughts as I did.BUT I let it slide while someone else boiled their thoughts.

At my age and condition I just shrugged and went about my business while someone else spoke up like the younger version of me.I am on the downhill slide of my life huh???
