Never called her anything other than mom or mother.

Since my birthday is always so close to Mother's Day and sometimes falls on that day, I'd always tried to spend the day with her. I can always remember, as a child, her keeping it separate from her day except for on the day. As an adult she liked to spend it celebrating together so I always made that happen.
