Kraft Is Launching Cheesy Ramen—Here’s When You Can Get It
Kraft is taking its famous cheesy noodles to the ramen aisle, and there will be three flavors to choose from in this new comfort food mashup.
There is nothing more satisfying than a big bowl of warm mac and cheese on a cool fall day. In fact, I like to make sure that my pantry is well-stocked with a variety of cheesy noodle options before autumn arrives. That way, I’m never more than a few minutes away from a cozy meal. My best mac and cheese hack: add peas and chili crisp. You’re welcome!
The only dish that competes for my affection is ramen. It’s warm, savory and easy to make, aka the definition of comfort food.
And honestly, I’m not sure there are two comfort foods better suited for a mashup. Ramen is already endlessly customizable, while Kraft Mac & Cheese has spent decades perfecting the art of making a bowl of noodles feel like a hug. Now, the two are officially joining forces: Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen is coming to shelves soon.
What is Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen?
It might be the most exciting string of words I’ve read all year, if I’m being honest. Kraft announced that this would be the brand’s first major foray into a new category in 20 years. Since so many people love adding cheese to ramen for a creamy texture, it makes sense that Kraft wanted to get in on the action. And if you ever need to tame the spice level of your ramen, cheese is also a good way to go.
There will be three varieties to choose from: Spicy, Chicken and Pork. And according to Kraft, the ramen innovation doesn’t stop there—more varieties and formats are coming.
Right now, the ramen will be available in single-serve bowls that microwave in less than four minutes. It’s the perfect thing to pack for a very cheesy office lunch!
When will the Kraft Cheesy Ramen be available?
The only bummer is that you have to wait a bit before lining your pantry shelves with cheesy ramen. Kraft Mac & Cheese Cheesy Ramen will be available in early 2027. While it seems far away, remember that the holiday season is always a blur. Maybe that will help things move along more quickly.
