of dementia being linked to hormones?

I did a search a while back and found some connections.
My mother, MIL and several other women that had hysterectomies at way too early ages had dementia. My mother was mid-late 70s'.

For men, lifetime low testosterone levels seem to fit with early dementia.

I worry about my girls, both have had surgeries and missing vital parts in their 40s', but both have at least one ovary.
