Yes I got a smart TV. I didn't want it but my nephew insisted on it because my TV was so old that it had ports to hook it up to A VCR.

I had a credit card from Verizon so I used that to get it when I shut down Directv and switched to Verizon to save money. It is a Roku TV. I really like it and am still finding things. I do miss having local stations at my fingertips.
