Connie my bedroom is only 10'x11', absolutely no extra room for a metal rack. What I did was get rid of a lot of clothing that I seldom wore and I also got rid of my work clothes so I actually can fit all of my clothes in the closet and chester drawers. My problem is that my bedroom closet is also where I store all of my pictures, paperwork, sewing machine, sewing equipment, seasonal pictures for decorating with, a roller cart with a portion of my shoes in it, along with both bed pillows and decorative pillows and there's probably other things in there that I can't think of right now.

My apartment is only about 600sqf, so I do alot of versatile storage in trunks and baskets that I either leave out as decorations or shove under furniture.
