I started buying whatever food is on sale and finds ways to make a meal out of it and I'm not buying big ticket items and since the China tariffs have gone away, Temu has brought a lot of their prices back down to where they were before tariffs and they're back to offering free shipping on some of their items so I've stocked up on yoga pants and t-shirts, most cost less than $9 with the handling cost. I filled my gas tank up last week and because I live within a mile or two for most of my grocery shopping, that tank should last me 4+ months. I'm definitely cutting back but part of why I'm cutting back is because SS will start cutting back by 20-25%, starting in 2032 so I'm trying to see how little I can spend.
