I did...they were fine for grade school but when my mom bought another pair when I started Jr. High....I was mortified.

NONE of the girls wore saddle shoes, everyone had to wear those cute black flats and if you were rich, nylon stockings.
My legs were usually bare.

Something about Jr. high just brings out the evil in girls.
I raised a couple girls...I know.
