I had a "cruise" like that....only it was a barge.
A huge car ferry from Manitowoc Wi. to Ludington MI.
My hb had family in Milwaukee and mine in upper MI..it's about a 8 hour drive or a 5 hour ferry ride.

I've never been so seasick in my life, a 4 and 1 year old just as bad.
We were the first to load on the ferry, so of course the LAST to unload.
That 5 hour short cut ended up 10 hours
