nice day and not too hot for the most part until the canyon behind us started on fire this evening.

The city had a "burn back" just a month ago, so it surprised me there was a brush fire.
It's out, only burned about an acre.

I made chicken soup for dinner...not a wise choice on a warm day but I had chicken/stock and limp veggies to use up. Toasted some cheese bread too
