I started getting the quick cook barley. Seems my grocery store doesn't carry the pearled barley anymore, which I prefer. But I have come to love the quick cook kind. It is a lot faster, you don't have to wash it or look for stones, it tastes the same but doesn't have the "tooth feel" the bigger pearled barley has.
