All the schools are out and the neighborhood kids are home. I can hear them playing. I can't get over how all the parents watch their kids like a hawk nowadays. They are always hovering over them which is good considering our neighbor. When we were kids we were gone most of the day, coming home to eat lunch and supper and were expected home at night when the street lights came on. But that was city life back then.

Supper tonight will be a skillet meal and a salad.
