Air Fryer Lemon Pepper Chicken

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 lemon, zested and juiced
1 tsp cracked black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried thyme (optional)
Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, salt, and thyme.
Brush the mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
Place chicken breasts in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
Cook for 18-20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and chicken is golden brown.
Remove and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Adjust lemon and pepper quantities to taste.
For extra crispiness, pat chicken dry before seasoning.
Serve with a side of steamed vegetables or salad.
