I love to hear the birds, too.

Which reminds me to put bird seed on my grocery list. I must fill my feeder almost everyday, but I am getting a wide variety of birds when I fill the feeder. I had stopped a few years ago because of that bird illness that was going around and the state said to stop feeding. Now they said we can put food out again unless we see a sick bird. They said this illness affects their eyes.

There is a mourning dove that comes around. He doesn't have his mate with him anymore. I am afraid he lost his mate. That makes me so sad. They say they mate for life.
