Falling scares me too. No way would I be able to get up by myself even if I didn't break anything. My step-dtr's grandmother, a very spry 95 year old fell in her yard filling her bird feeders. She broke her wrist and hip. It was too much for her and she couldn't recover from it. She died. That is a real possibility when you fall.

I have a plan if I should fall. I'd crawl to the steps and craw and drag myself up a few steps, then try and roll over so I am sort of upright, try to sit up using the handrails and then stand from there. Sounds like a plan. Of course if might not work and then I am "up the creek".
