I have vertigo occasionally, it doesn't happen often but some of the times when I get up from bed in the morning the room will spin some so I keep a cane next to the bed. Also when I go to the detist i take it because if I'm laying back with my head tilted downwards, that will cause vertigo so I grab my cane when getting up from the chair.
