BAKED POTATO CASSEROLE (Loaded Potatoes)
6 Large Potatoes cooked and diced
** 6 Slices of Bacon, cooked and crumbled
** 1 Pint of Sour Cream
** 2 Bunches Green Onion chopped
1 # Shedded Cheddar cheese
SAVE SOME GREEN ONION STEMS, Crumbed Bacon and Cheese for Topping
Mix all Ingredients together, pour in a buttered 8x9 pan (Brownie Pan)
Bake 30 minutes 325 or until top is brown.
I have substituted:
McCormick Chives
2 Tbsp Walmart Great Value, Real Bacon pieces, wrap in paper towel microwave until Crisp
Small curd Cottage Cheese
Onions sautéed with 1 Tsp of sugar, caramelizes onions
I have made this recipe both ways equally good,
