I am looking through some of my Mom's recipes. Seem like they are 70's recipes.

Secret Meat Patties

1 lb. hamburg
1/2 C. applesauce
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 C. bread crumbs
1/2 chopped onion
1 egg
3 oz. cheese, small cubed

Mix applesauce and spices. Add meat, bread crumbs, onion and egg. Mix. Fold in cubed cheese. Make patties and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Let stand for 5 minutes.
