We never have. It terrifies me. Hb used to say there's no need to lock the doors out here. But I grew up in the city and I locked everything up. Now he does, too.

We used to have a lot of big dogs. 4 at a time at one point. God help the stranger that broke into the room they were sleeping in. Now that we're old we have little yappers. Their barking is still a deterrent.

Plus everybody out here has guns.
