3 Pink Lady Apples Sliced. You can most likely only fit one sliced apple in the air fryer at a time
¼ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
Using a mandolin, set to 3mm or ⅛ inch thickness, leaving the skin on, slice the apple starting on the bottom working your way to the top.
Shake the slices to remove seeds. You should end up with about 20 slices per apple, slightly more or slightly less depending on the size of the apple and how it’s sliced. Please be sure to follow safety guidelines with your mandolin.
Add the slices to a grate-lined air fryer basket. Air fry at 300F for 16-18 minutes. Flip or shake halfway through, then again at the 4-minute mark. The apple slices will start to shrivel up and you will need to separate the ones that start sticking together. After 16 minutes most should be done.
Remove apple chips and set them onto a cooling rack. They will continue to crisp up as they sit. If any feel damp or still squishy, leave those in the air fryer for another 2 minutes.
While warm, sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Store in a wide-mouth mason jar or air-tight container. Repeat the process for as many apples as you have.
