I watched the Mardi Gras cam last night for a while and it's the first year that I've seen very few people on the streets, normally it's so crowded that people had to squeeze through to get pass people, last night no squeezing was needed.

I did notice that there were very few people carrying drinks so maybe they outlawed drinking in the streets which would put more people in the bars than the streets.
