We have our PA Dutch version which is chicken in gravy on top of waffles which would take the places of biscuits or stuffing. OK, I get that.

I don't get the crispy fried chicken on a waffle. Why would you put that on a waffle? The two things seem so unrelated.

And why would you put syrup on some crisp fried chicken? Whaat????? I don't get that at all.
