The story behind this shooting from the Next Door site (neighbors in the area), is horrifying.

This guy walked into the hospital armed and had zip ties with him. He went right to the ICU and took health care people hostages. He knew where he was going because he was there a week ago when his wife died when Drs. would not give her the care she needed. He begged them up until the minute she died according to people who live in the area. He became very distraught over that.

He had people zip tied and was parading them around. Cops were trying to reason with him but he was having none of that. When he started parading hostages around is when the cops started shooting.

One cop was killed, another shot, a Dr. grazed and a few other healthcare workers injured. The hospital is closed until further notice.
