3½ lbs potatoes
1 lb ground beef
12 ounces evaporated milk
14 oz can cheese soup
½ cup whole milk
1 yellow onion
8 ounces shredded cheddar
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
Sauté the meat and onion in a skillet.
Peel potatoes cut them into ¼-inch slices.
Arrange a layer of potatoes on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Season. Layer beef and cheese.
Stir both milks with soup. Pour over the top of the casserole.
Cover bake for an hour Uncover bake 15 minutes more.
