Ingredients (Serves 6)
Beef & Cabbage
• 1 lb. ground beef
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 1 large head green cabbage, chopped
• 1 tbsp olive oil
Creamy Sauce
• 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
• ½ cup sour cream
• 1 large egg
• 1 tsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
Cheesy Top
• 1 cup shredded cheddar, divided
👩🍳 How to Make It
1️⃣ Sauté cabbage in olive oil 10–12 minutes until soft and lightly browned. Drain liquid.
2️⃣ In another skillet, cook beef and onion until browned. Drain fat.
3️⃣ Blend cottage cheese, sour cream, egg, and seasonings until smooth.
4️⃣ Mix cabbage, beef, sauce, and half the cheddar in a bowl.
5️⃣ Spread into a greased 9×13 dish and top with remaining cheese.
6️⃣ Bake at 375°F for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
7️⃣ Rest 10 minutes, then serve.
💡 Tips
✔ Add paprika for extra flavor
✔ Swap beef with turkey if you prefer
✔ Keeps well in the fridge up to 4 days or freeze for later
