📝 Ingredients
→ Shrimp
• 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
→ Creamy garlic sauce
• 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 5 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon dried parsley
• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• 1 teaspoon lemon juice
→ To serve
• 2 cups cooked white rice (warm)
🍽️ How to Make It
1️⃣ Season the shrimp
Pat shrimp dry, then season with paprika, salt, and black pepper.
2️⃣ Sear the shrimp
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high.
Cook the shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until light pink and C-shaped (not tight). Transfer to a plate.
3️⃣ Start the garlic base
Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the same skillet.
When melted, add garlic and cook 20–30 seconds until fragrant.
4️⃣ Build the creamy sauce
Pour in heavy cream and stir. Add onion powder, dried parsley, cayenne (optional), salt, and pepper.
Simmer 3–5 minutes on medium-low until slightly thick and glossy.
5️⃣ Finish the dish
Return the shrimp to the sauce.
Simmer 1–2 minutes to coat them well. Stir in the lemon juice and taste for seasoning.
6️⃣ Serve
Spoon warm rice into bowls and pour plenty of creamy garlic shrimp over the top.
