For the Fillings
1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
½ lb (225 g) shrimp, peeled, deveined, chopped
½ lb (225 g) scallops or crab meat (or a mix)
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt & black pepper, to taste
½ tsp paprika
½ tsp Italian seasoning
For the Garlic Cream Sauce
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ tsp garlic powder
Salt & pepper, to taste
For Topping
½ cup shredded mozzarella
Extra Parmesan for garnish
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish.
2️⃣ Cook the seafood
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic, then shrimp and scallops (or crab). Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and Italian seasoning. Cook for 3–4 minutes until just done. Set aside.
3️⃣ Make the garlic cream sauce
Melt butter in a saucepan. Whisk in flour and cook for 30 seconds. Slowly add cream while whisking. Add garlic powder, salt, pepper, and Parmesan. Simmer until thick and creamy.
4️⃣ Prepare the crescents
Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Spoon seafood filling onto the wide end of each triangle.
5️⃣ Add sauce & roll
Drizzle some garlic cream sauce over the seafood. Roll up each crescent and place seam-side down in the baking dish.
6️⃣ Top & bake
Pour remaining sauce over the crescents. Sprinkle with mozzarella and extra Parmesan. Bake for 18–22 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
