Golden, buttery, and stuffed with creamy shrimp goodness—these croissants disappear fast, so you might want to make a double batch!
Ingredients
1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, and chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
1 tbsp chives or green onions, finely chopped
½ tsp paprika
¼ tsp black pepper
¼ tsp salt (or to taste)
½ cup shredded mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp melted butter (for brushing)
Optional: red pepper flakes for a little heat
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, chopped shrimp, garlic, parsley, chives, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
Spoon a generous amount of the shrimp cream cheese mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
Sprinkle a little shredded cheese over the filling, then gently roll the dough into croissants.
Place the croissants seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with extra herbs or red pepper flakes if desired.
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and flaky.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
