Creamy, cheesy, and loaded with seafood — this white sauce lasagna is perfect for cozy dinners, family gatherings, or when you're just craving a coastal comfort meal.
📝 Ingredients:
12 lasagna noodles
1 lb cooked medium shrimp, peeled and chopped
8 oz imitation crab meat, flaked
1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 large egg
1 tbsp dried parsley
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp flour
2 cups milk
3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
🍽️ How to Make It:
1️⃣ Prep Everything:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook lasagna noodles according to package directions, drain, and lay flat on parchment paper.
2️⃣ Mix the Seafood Filling:
In a bowl, combine ricotta, Parmesan, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper until smooth. Gently fold in chopped shrimp and crab.
3️⃣ Make the Creamy White Sauce:
In a saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in milk and simmer until thick and smooth (about 5–7 minutes).
4️⃣ Layer the Lasagna:
In your greased dish:
Spread a thin layer of sauce
Add 4 noodles
Spoon in half the seafood mixture
Sprinkle ⅓ of mozzarella
Pour ⅓ of the sauce
Repeat this once more, then top with the last 4 noodles, remaining sauce, and mozzarella.
5️⃣ Bake to Golden Perfection:
Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, or until bubbly and lightly browned. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
Pro Tip:
Sauté a small onion in the butter before adding flour for an extra flavor boost in the sauce.
Storage Tip:
Cool and refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
