Ingredients
½ cup pineapple juice or water (120ml)
½ cup white vinegar (120ml)
½ cup white sugar (100g)
¼ cup tomato ketchup (4-5 tbsp)
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp cornstarch or tapioca starch (mixed with 2 tbsp water)
You can adjust the ingredients to your liking.
Directions:
In a saucepan add pineapple juice, vinegar, sugar, ketchup and salt. Bring to a gentle boil. Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook on med. high till thick and glossy, about one to two minutes/ Allow to cool. Store in an airtight jar in the fridge.
