This burger features cream cheese-pimento olive spread, Swiss cheese, and crunchy iceberg lettuce. Sound like your kind of thing?
Ingredients:
4 ounces softened cream cheese
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup sliced green olives with pimientos, plus 1 Tablespoon olive brine
1 Tablespoon hoagie cherry pepper spread
1.25 pounds ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
4 slices swiss cheese
4 burger buns
1 cup chopped iceberg lettuce
Directions:
Stir cream cheese and mayo together in a bowl until well combined. Stir in olives, brine and cherry pepper spread. Set aside or refrigerate until ready to use.
Shape beef into 4 patties and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add patties and cook, undisturbed four minutes or until browned. Flip and reduce heat to medium. Cook 3-4 minutes or until desired degree of doneness. Top with cheese and allow cheese to melt.
Place patties on bottom bun. Top liberally with olive spread. Add lettuce and top bun and serve immediately.
