Ingredients:
3 cups chopped rhubarb
2 apples, peeled and chopped
1/4 cup water
1–2 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
Instructions:
Add rhubarb, apples, and water to a saucepan.
Simmer over medium heat for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft.
Blend until smooth (use a blender or immersion blender).
Return to the pot and simmer on low for 10–15 minutes until thick.
Sweeten and spice to taste. Cool and store in jars.
