- Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked rice (preferably day-old)
- 1 cup beef, thinly sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: 1 egg, beaten
Directions:
1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
2. Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
4. If using, push the onion mixture to one side and pour the beaten egg into the skillet. Scramble until fully cooked.
5. Add the cooked rice to the skillet, followed by the beef, soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, and pepper. Stir well to combine and heat through.
6. Stir in the chopped green onions just before serving.
