Ingredients:
For the Marinade:
•2 lbs. chicken wings
•1/3 cup bourbon
•1/4 cup pickle juice
•3 cloves garlic, minced
•2 tbsp olive oil
•1 tbsp brown sugar
•1 tbsp soy sauce
•1 tbsp Dijon mustard
•1 tsp smoked paprika
•1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust for heat)
•1/2 tsp ground black pepper
•1 tsp onion powder
•1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves
•1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
•1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
For Finishing:
•2 tbsp butter, melted
•1 tbsp hot sauce (adjust to taste)
•1 tbsp honey
Instructions:
1.Prepare the Marinade:
•In a large bowl, mix bourbon, pickle juice, garlic, olive oil, brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, black pepper, onion powder, fresh thyme, and rosemary.
2.Marinate the Wings:
•Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate overnight for best flavor.
3.Cook the Wings in the Air Fryer:
•Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
•Remove the wings from the marinade and pat them dry. Discard the marinade.
•Place the wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket (you may need to cook in batches to avoid overcrowding).
•Air fry the wings for 25-30 minutes, flipping them halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
4.Finish the Wings:
•In a small saucepan, melt the butter and stir in the hot sauce and honey. Once the wings are done cooking, toss them in the butter mixture.
5.Garnish:
•Garnish the wings with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
