PECAN SQUARES
Crust
1 Box Yellow Cake Mix
½ Stick Butter (room temperature)
Filling
3 Eggs
1 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Cup Karo Syrup
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 teaspoon butter extract
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
1. Pour yellow cake mix into bowl and add ½ stick butter. Combine until crumbly.
2. Press mixture down into 9 x 13 casserole dish.
3. Bake at 350º for 15-20 minutes.
4. In separate bowl, mix together 3 eggs, brown sugar, Karo syrup, vanilla extract, and butter extract. Fold in pecans.
5. Once crust is ready, pour filling in over crust.
6. Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes.
