This is such a great comfort meal to make and is absurdly easy to make.
Ingredients
2 lb ground beef
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1 tablespoon mustard
1 tablespoon ketchup
2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce
1 egg
1/2 packet onion soup mix
Sauce
1 lb sliced mushrooms
1 large white onion sliced
2 garlic cloves minced
16 oz @kettleandfire beef broth
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 tablespoon worchestire sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Combine all patty ingredients in a bowl, and mix. Form into patties I made 6 large ones.
In a pan brown the patties on medium heat for 2 minutes until dark brown on each side. Remove from heat and place on a dish.
In the same pan start by sautéing onion, mushrooms and garlic until golden brown. Add in beef broth and stir the brown bits off the bottom. Add in cornstarch and immediately stir to prevent clumping. Add in worchestershire sauce, djon and stir. Place beef patties back in a cover. Cook on medium low atleast 15 minutes. Serve over mashed potates with a vegetable.
