Ingredients
• 2 (8-ounce) blocks of cream cheese, softened
• 2 sticks (1 cup) of butter, softened
• ½ teaspoon dried thyme
• ½ teaspoon garlic powder
• ½ teaspoon dried chives
• ½ teaspoon dried oregano
• ½ teaspoon dried basil
• 1 teaspoon dried dill
• 1 tablespoon dried parsley
• 3 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
• Fresh cracked pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Prep the Base:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and butter. Beat with a hand mixer (or stand mixer) on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
2. Add the Herbs and Seasoning:
Add the thyme, garlic powder, chives, oregano, basil, dill, parsley, and Parmesan cheese to the bowl. Mix well until all the herbs are evenly distributed.
3. Season to Taste:
Add fresh cracked pepper to taste. Start with a few turns and adjust as needed for your preferred level of spice and flavor.
4. Chill:
Transfer the mixture to a serving dish or airtight container. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.
5. Serve:
Serve with crackers, sliced veggies, or fresh bread. You can also use it as a spread for sandwiches or wraps.
Tips for Customization
• For a touch of tanginess, mix in a tablespoon of lemon juice or a splash of white vinegar.
• Want some heat? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
• If you prefer a smoother spread, use a food processor for a finer texture.
