Ingredients:
• 1 can of biscuits, cut into pieces
• 2 lbs cooked sausage
• 1 cup shredded cheese
• 6 eggs
• ½ cup milk
For the gravy:
• Sausage grease
• ½ cup flour
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 cups milk
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking pan and spread biscuit pieces evenly.
2. Sprinkle sausage and cheese over the biscuits.
3. Whisk eggs and milk, then pour evenly over the sausage and cheese.
4. In a skillet, heat sausage grease. Whisk in flour and salt, then gradually add milk until thickened.
5. Pour the gravy over the casserole. Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown. 6. Let cool slightly before serving.
To make ahead:
Cook fully, cool, and refrigerate overnight. Reheat at 350°F for 20 minutes, removing foil for the last 5 minutes to crisp the top.
