ingredients:
•2 cups orange slices (about 2 oranges)
•1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt (i use dairy free)
•3-4 tablespoons sweetener of choice (i like raw honey or pure maple syrup; vanilla protein might also work)
instructions:
1. peel your oranges and arrange the slices on a tray lined with parchment paper then place in the freezer until frozen.
2. once frozen, add 2 cups of orange slices to a high speed blender along with 1 cup yogurt and 3 tbsp honey or maple syrup.
3. blend the mixture until smooth and creamy then taste and add more yogurt, frozen orange slices, or sweetener if desired.
4. enjoy immediately or pour the mixture into a loaf pan and freeze for several hours, until the desired consistency is achieved.
5. scoop and enjoy!
notes:
•if using plain yogurt, feel free to add 1-2 tsp vanilla extract for extra flavor
•you will likely need to scrape down the sides of the blender while blending to help with the process
